-When starting Toy Trouble I keep getting
the error that my version of MCI32.OCX is outdated.
*Copy the MCI32.OCX-file (included with Toy Trouble) to your
Windows System folder (c:windowssystem).
-I keep getting runtime errors. What's the
problem_
*You probably didn't install the latest version of DirectX. Go to
http://www.microsoft.com/direct to download it.
-A few menu's aren't functioning properly.
I can't see which button I've selected.
*Make sure you have a Graphics Card with at least 8 MB of memory.
If you do so, you might want to check your color settings in the
options program. 16-bit colors use less video memory than the
24-bit or the 32-bit color setting. If this doesn't solve your
probably, try downloading new drivers for your videocard (for
section 6 in this readme) or the latest DirectX.
-When pressing OK in the options screen, I
keep getting errors.
*Try deleting the "toytrouble.ini"-file in the Toy
Trouble directory. Then restart the options program.
-I've put music volume all the way up, but
I still don't hear it.
*The music is only available on the CD version of Toy Trouble. If
you want to listen to the game's music, you've got to download
this music and put on a cd.
-My PC has all necessary requirements, but
the game still only runs at about 2 to 4 frames per second.
*You probably set RGB Emulation as the Graphics Device in the
options program. Go to the options screen and select Graphics.
Set the device to Direct3D HAL instead of RGB Emulation. Also
make sure that the resolution settings are not too high.
-When I use the multiplayer option and press a button, Player
1 as well Player 2 do the same action, at the same time.
*The keyboard settings are the set the same way for both players. Go to the
options program and then to Controls Player 2. Change the button settings there.
It is recommended that both players use a different input device.
